Crazy 88 Mixed Martial Arts was overflowing with triumphs and medals at the first-ever IBJJF Washington DC Open 2017. Under the Team Lloyd Irvin affiliation, including Crazy 88 MMA and Ivey League MMA, the team had 72 competitors (before entering 22 open class divisions) that competed on September 9, 2017, in its home stomping ground of Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Hyattsville. Crazy 88 wins first team trophy at first IBJJF Washing DC Open.
Humble Brag – Team Lloyd Irvin scored 401 points securing its First Place team trophy, which is more points than the second and third teams combined. The team brought home 38 Gold Medals, 20 Silver Medals, and 17 Bronze Medals across age, weight, belt, and gender divisions. Of the medals, 9 Golds and 10 Silvers were in the Open Divisions.
